Welcome to this site for members of the ‘Our Future’ study
Thank you for participating in the Our Future study so far! Our Future is conducted on behalf of the Department for Education. You are among over 13,000 others who were selected from your age group to take part.
The Our Future Study has spoken to this group of young people every year since the study started in 2013, when you were in Year 9.
Analysis of the study data continues and we intend to do another major study of all participants. We would very much like you to remain part of the Our Future Study community and we would like to stay in touch with you until you are aged 30. This may be with occasional letters, emails, short web surveys and a further large-scale survey.
Research into the lives of young people is important.
The answers you and other young people give in the study are very
important in shaping policies and services which affect young people.

matters to your generation and what we should focus on
to improve the issues that are important to you.
